I don't know about everyone else...

but I think it is time to start listening to Christmas music!! Yay!! About a week ago I started pulling out the few Christmas albums I have and dusting off the covers. Then it was onto the computer with them (more specifically iTunes, then my iPod). Oh how I do love the music of Christams.

You don't think it's too early do you?

Naw, not at all. ALL Christmas music is fair game after the beginning of November, just not to be sung in church quite yet. Or if you are my father, it is fair game in the middle of October =)

Too early. Have we had Thanksgiving yet? Mmmm, no? THEN IT IS WAY TOO EARLY!!!

I must admit I am a bit of a hypocrite on this on; I started listening last night, against my will at first (stupid Delilah was playing it A LOT), then I came home and put on some Kenny G - BUT IT IS STILL WAY TOO EARLY!!)

Chris, I am so with you on that one! In fact, any time is a good time as far as I'm concerned.

For sure not too early to be listening to Christmas music. I've already started listening to it as well.

So when is it "Legal" to put up the Christmas Tree? If the Christmas music is out already, what about the Christmas Tree....Eggnog...Spiced Cider.... I think you get the point.

General rule of thumb:

Christmas Music - Year Round

Christmas Tree - Day after
Thnaksgiving (or as soon as you've cleared the feast from the table)

Eggnog - Never allowed! It should all be flushed down the toilet.

Spiced Cider - Just had some today. Good for basically all year long but best when it's cold out.

So there you have it.

Oh my goodness... you had me cracking up with your comment about flushing eggnog down the toilet because I TOTALLY AGREE! Aman Bro =)

Same goes for the Christmas tree... not to be flushed down the toilet but to be put up the day after Thanksgiving. Or if not the tree, at least the lights on the outside of the house.

Finally someone who has their head on correctly. And what's even nicer is when you have an artificial tree. Oh yah. That bad boy could be up within a half hour and then you're done. No wattering, no hassle. Plus, It can stay up well into the new year, then be taken down at any time.
