Happy Thanksgiving

As we are all sitting down to eat an AMAZING turkey dinner, or are soon to do so, I will not waste a lot of my time or yours. I will simply wish everyone a very Happy Thanksgiving.

Let us all take this moment to reflect, and think about what we are most thankful for and also realize that there are those that are less fortunate than us, and as unfortunate as that is we must not take anything forgranted. Cherish the small things in life, because it is when we are without the small things, that we are trully gratful for them.

Enough is enough!

Come on people! I mean, seriously. Stop ordering cold drinks (specifically blended ones)! No more milkshakes, or smoothies, or granitas; just because the sun is showing its face does NOT make it warm outside... it's hardly reaching 60 if that. That does not warrant a blended drink! Plus, I don't want to make them!

Didn't everyone get the memo?! IT'S WINTER!!!

Procrastination Prevails

I find myself once again, sitting at my computer starting a paper that is due less in less than 24hrs. It never fails. I said that I was going to do it over the weekend since I didn't have to work... but no.

So now I sit at my computer, ROCKSTAR in hand... actually it's empty, time to open a new one... and attempt to pull a halfway decent paper out of my... ear.

I THNK I'M GOING DEAF!!!

Well, you heard right. LOL! I crack myself up. So yes, I think I am going deaf. Seeing as how the holidays are upon us, or will be shortly, we are starting to make "holiday drinks" @ work. Well this includes Eggnog Lattes. Uh oh... I think that's throw up in my mouth... oh, there it is again. Come on people!! How nasty is that. I mean Eggnog is nasty to begin with. If you are a fan of it, ok fine, I guess I can agree to disagree with you on that one. But adding a shot of espresso to that, ewwwww!

So I have to make this drink which requires the eggnog to be steamed. CAN YOU SAY LOUD!! I MEAN IT SOUNDS LIKE A JET TAKING OFF IN YOUR RIGHT EAR. IT'S DEAFENING!!

I'm just glad not too many people have bad taste, so I don't have to make too many.

Study Break

So I'm posting this @ 12:30ish in the morning becasue I am taking a much needed break from studying, although it could rightfully be called "cramming", for a history exam that I am not prepared for.

I now find myself though, in the same place that I always am the night before a test, frantically ripping thorugh pages and pages of notes, paying no mind to the text book, after all, what instructer actually pulls questions from the material in the text? That would be crazy!

So now I set out to labour over what I hope are well written notes, and try to recall many class lectures; this is another feble attempt to study for a test I just hope to get a C on.

I wish I had a ROCKSTAR right about now.

I don't know about everyone else...

but I think it is time to start listening to Christmas music!! Yay!! About a week ago I started pulling out the few Christmas albums I have and dusting off the covers. Then it was onto the computer with them (more specifically iTunes, then my iPod). Oh how I do love the music of Christams.
